Calismamizda elit erkek ve bayan basketbolcular ile voleybolcularin ACE genotiplerini belirleyerek, hem sedanter hem de sporcu gruplari arasinda genotip polimorfizmi bakimdan farkliliklari arastirdik.Bu calismanin amaci 28 bayan ve 30 erkek basketbolcu ile 31 bayan ve 33 erkek voleybolcunun genetik analiz yoentemleri ile genetik oezelliklerinin uluslararasi basari icin ne derecede oengoeru kazandirabilecegini arastirmaktir. Calismamiza katilan kontrol ve denek grubundan 5cc.kan alinarak ACE gen polimorfizmleri belirlendi. Ayrica denek grubundan yas, boy ve kilolari alinarak dikey sicrama, mekik kosusu ve 20 metre sprint testleri uygulandi. Elde edilen degerler SPSS 11.0 paket programinda ki kare(p0,05).Yine t testine goere erkek sporcularin dikey sicramalari arasinda anlamli bir fark (0,026) bulunmustur.Mekik kosusunda da (0,04) anlamli fark bulunmustur.
