Ardindan karsilastirma icin kullanilan SOBS ve SOPS yoentemleri anlatilmistir. Bu yoentemlerin teorik analizi verilmis ve algoritmik analizi yapilmistir. Calismada SOBS ve SOPS tekniklerinin karsilastirmali performans analizi simulasyon calismalari ile gerceklestirilmistir. Simulasyonlar NSFNET ve halka topolojileri uzerinde farkli hat ve dalgaboyu sayilari icin yapilmistir. Performans kriteri olarak kayip olasiliklari, hizmet erisim gecikme sureleri ve uctan uca gecikme sureleri goez oenunde bulundurulmustur. Kitapta SOBS ve SOPS tekniklerinin hangisinin kullanilmasi gerekliliginin agin trafik yogunluguna ve topolojilere bagli olarak degistigi goesterilmistir. Son olarak bu calismanin ileriki asamalarinda neler yapilabilecegi konusunda bilgiler verilmistir.
