This volume provides the first critical edition and translation of a unique document about the history of medicine and balneology in Montpellier, the Traite sur les Thermes de Balaruc by N. Dortoman, a professor on Montpellier’s medical faculty, a doctor who served Charles IX full time and who later became Henri IV’s chief physician.
