How well do YOU know snakes?

Snakes live among us, as they always have. We think we know them, but snakes have many astonishing secrets, all revealed in this snake book for kids.

What is the world's most dangerous snake? What snake mother twitches to warm her eggs until they hatch? What is the only snake in the world that builds a nest for her eggs? Where in the world could you see the largest snake gathering - and why are all those thousands of snakes there? What two island nations and two American states have no native snakes, and why? Snakes don't smell things with their noses, yet they have an excellent sense of smell. How do they do it? Where would you go to eat a snake dinner? What ancient snake attacked and ate dinosaurs?

With more than 300 intriguing facts and 50+ color photos, Fun Snake Facts for Kids is the 11th book in the series Fun Animal Facts for Kids from Crimson Hill Books. For ages 7 to 12 or Grades 3 to 5.
