Apollo finds sanctuary with one person who cares for him and cares about him. His journey through this life brought new sights, sounds, smells and definitely tastes. Sometimes finding trouble on his own or trouble finding him. Either way he was blessed with the soul of a fighter and the heart of a lover staying true blue right to the very beginning of a new adventure beyond this earthly existence. Apollo’s story is not uncommon or unusual. But he was to that one person who loved him more than anyone or anything in the entire universe. He would become her hero; saving her from a fate worse than death. Not loneliness so much as being alone. He gave her a life with a purpose and he still is in writing this book. Apollo lives in my heart of hearts. When I look down I see his paw print.
