With the disaster of her last battle, the Vatican is now sending Rebecca to the United States to find Gabriel, a man who has fought more battles against evil in the last 2000 years than any person or nation could have imagined.

But how do you convince a person who fled that life for over 250 years? That life of battle upon battle and feeling like you have gotten nowhere.

A former ballerina, now a Vatican soldier, races against time to convince a legendary figure-a vampire hunter-to help her thwart the Fang's plot and save the Vatican from destruction.

Scott Alexander Williams was born in Nebraska and grew up on the family farm. When he was 20 years old, he went to college to study Computer Animation and Industrial Design. Soon after college, Scott joined the Marine Corps, where he served 8 years, with a deployment to support the operations in Afghanistan and then two combat tours with Iraq. It was on his second tour to Iraq that he came up with his first Character, Gabriel. Upon leaving the Marines, he went back home to Nebraska with his wife and then 3-year-old son. In 2010, while doing freelance artwork for a friend who was writing a book, he got the idea of writing his own book using the character that he created in Iraq. By 2012, Scott had written 14 books, with 7 books in the Chronicles of the Sky Runners series.
