In the year 1885, a mentally challenged teenager named Stanley arrived by wagon with his family, setting up camp just outside the small town of Harrisburg, Indiana. The youth was soon observed playing wild Indian while visiting a local store. Late that night, their camp was visited by four men who savagely lynched Stanley for a crime he did not commit. In retaliation to the horror she had just witnessed, his elderly grandmother called upon Satan to place a curse upon the murderers of her grandson, the hanging tree, the land, and all who would one day come to occupy it. Word of the terrible curse spread rapidly through the community as one-by-one, each of those involved met a terrible death. Locals soon began reporting the sounds of haunting Indian chanting and war drums late into the night. Is the old woman’s curse responsible for the strange occurrences that continue or perhaps another force may be involved? It is now up to Marshal Justin Blake and his deputies to solve this lingering murder mystery and put an end to the death and destruction that continues to torment the good people in present-day Gas City.
