Loving the Skin I’m In, is the second book of the Charity Series. It is about a young girl named Raven who struggles to accept her dark complexion. In her struggle to deal with her self identity, Charity comes on the scene to help Raven see her beauty from within. This encounter helps her embrace the beauty of her dark skin. My prayer is that every child of melanin hue begin to see themselves through the eyes of God, as Charity helps them see that they are fearfully and wonderfully created by a loving Creator, who takes pride in their beautiful black skin.
