Christian poems inspired by the last words of Norseng, a man from the Garo tribe of Assam, now Meghalaya, India. As a Christian convert his chief told him, on pain of death, to recant his new faith. Norseng responded, I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back, no turning back. The Chief killed Norseng and all his family. The rest of the tribe, witnessing Norseng’s commitment, converted to Christianity.
