Scholars have suggested that the creation of bells dates back to about 3000 B.C. from the Chinese culture. Ancient bells were first made of pottery then later the Chinese began using metal. When bells were heard ringing, it represented harmony and liberty. Eventually bells came in all forms and fashions such angel bells, church bells, and sleigh bells.
