Artist Karl Erikson hadn't been himself in the days before his death. He'd been anxious. Fearful. Obsessively religious. Odd for someone who'd been a lifelong atheist.

The house is broken into six weeks after his funeral. The investigator asks his widow: Is there anyone who wishes you harm?

Her quest for answers leads her into a dark world of secret societies, coded symbols, ancient prophecies and spiritual warfare as she seeks to unravel the mystery of her husband's death.
