The White Haitian is the poignant story of a missionary’s immersion into the Haitian culture. As an evangelist in northwest Haiti, Doug Fritts faced the challenges of Voodoo black magic, perilous journeys, and of exposing the corruption in a ministry. This compelling story vividly chronicles an evangelist’s conquest of dispelling the darkness of Voodoo superstition with the light of the gospel. Doug and his wife, Lola, have been married for forty years. Doug is a retired science teacher and track coach. Lola is a retired social worker. They have two married sons and five grandchildren. For the past thirty years, Doug has served as an evangelist in Haiti and in Mexico. He recently completed his 43rd mission trip to Haiti. Doug is the president and founder of Grace Evangelistic Ministries.
