When Paul Atreides Barylan turned 18, he inherited telepathic powers as a descendant of Grigori Rasputin, the powerful Russian psychic, and entered a secret organization known as the Grigori Research Association. The GRA protects hundreds of telepaths who work behind the scenes to ensure billionaires make more billions. They claim honor and service to society, but the reality if far darker.

Thanks to his strong bloodline link to Rasputin and other factors, Paul received more telepathic powers than anyone ever before, and sees through his parent’s lies about the crimes they and their billionaire boss commit, including murder. Disgusted, he turns to the only people he trusts, friends with telepathic abilities.

This First Four, of Paul, his best friend Max, his girlfriend Junie, and her best friend Gemma, search for a way to stop new crimes committed by their families and others. Gemma hates Paul, but as they fight together they grow closer and closer. The group soon finds allies, other telepaths and normals, including the FBI, to join their crusade.
