Sixteen year old Rebecca makes a bad choice which results in damage to her mother’s car and sets in motion a series of events. While she is making amends for her mistake, matters take a turn for the worse. During a riding lesson for some physically challenged children at the stables where she boards her horse, she makes another bad choice. She ignores a warning not to approach Angie, an autistic girl, and causes a major disturbance. In trouble again, Rebecca makes a decision which will turn out to have unexpected consequences. As the months pass, an extraordinary friendship develops between Angie and herself, one which proves to have a major effect on both their lives.
