The story of the nightingale and the bear describes how we can deal with bullying. It’s also about learning why it is important to stand up for yourself, for others and for issues that really matter to you.

At one level this is a story about bullying. At another it uses the events of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022 to help parents make sense of events like these with their children.

This special edition has been produced with the sole aim of raising funds for humanitarian agencies working with Ukrainian victims of Russia’s war.

Apart from bona fide costs such as printing and distribution, which Resilient Hedgehog is underwriting, all are contributing their time and effort without charge. All profits will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
