St. Louis World’s Fair – 1904 A hundred years after the Louisiana Purchase doubled the size of the United States, a World’s Fair – the Louisiana Purchase Exposition – was held in Missouri to celebrate the event. Photographer T.W. Ingersoll documented the fair with his stereoscopic camera. Meet Me at the Fair revisits the exposition with 100 Ingersoll images, reproduced in black and white. The images were originally published as a set in 1904.
