Dog & Friends: Birthday

Today is Dog’s birthday! He has lots of presents to open, all of them wrapped in exciting paper. What could be in the round package? What does the square box contain? Shall we see…? It looks like something red - it is a coat from Dog’s owner, Vicky. That will keep him warm while Vicky takes him for a walk! Inside the round parcel is a yellow bouncy ball. This is a gift from Bird. Dog will enjoy playing with this! Meanwhile, Cat has given him a shiny new cylindrical food bowl. Dog unwraps it just in time for dinner! The final present is from Mouse - it’s a cosy blue blanket for Dog’s bed. With appealing images to look at and talk about, this book is a wonderful aid to learning that little ones will want to return to again and again.
