The Choices We Make
Connor Adam Fox
During the regime of the Third Reich, a young Nazi officer rebels against the evil philosophy. Herbert Richter is put in charge of a prisoner labor camp by his uncle, the general, to keep him from harm's way during the ongoing war. Unbeknownst to his uncle, Herbert doesn't believe in harming people - any people. There, he gets to know the beautiful and pragmatic prisoner Marion Leibowitz when he takes her on as his assistant, and the two fall deeply in love. Danger lurks around every corner. If they're caught fraternizing, it would mean death for her and likely for him as well. Finally, with the Russian army looming on the eastern front, Herbert is faced with a choice. Will he be brave enough to betray his own and fight his enemies with the same uniform? It's one against a hundred, with only Marion's love to keep Herbert going. Will the lovers survive until the end of the war?
