Eccentric, adventurous and kind-hearted, the beloved Moomins, created by Finnish writer and illustrator Tove Jansson, have endeared themselves to audiences since 1945. In 1954, London's biggest evening newspaper, the Evening News, began to publish the Moomin comics too.
