A process of change, development learning a formal, private and personal approach., direct and face-to-face relationship. Counselling is a continuous process that helps the individual become self-sufficient, self-direct and self-dependent. Help an individual to make an effort to solve day-to-day problems. Various techniques and approaches are use to treat and manage general anxiety disorder. However, CBT has been applicable in treating people with GAD effectively. (Generalised Anxiety Disorder) Additionally, it is imperative to note that if left untreated, GAD is a life-threatening condition that adversely impacts that patient.
