Beyond Prewrath: End-Time Prophecy
Robert Parker
This is an update of the previous book published in 2021. There are now 31 figures and 12 chapters.
The Beyond Prewrath view claims that believers will not be raptured until after Satan’s great tribulation though before the blown trumpets with the wrath of God. It has similarities to the prewrath theory, though is yet significantly different to reveal important new understandings. It interprets the book of Revelation as not being chronological.
This new premillennial theory has the rapture occurring at the end of the first septet of the opened seals in Revelation 8:5. The phrase of peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake will be shown to represent an earthly rapture of the elect. This same unique phrase can only be found at the end of the second septet (11:19) and third septet (16:18). Second rapture is for Israel and third for the sheep. The same phrase without an earthquake can be found in Revelation 4:4 when the apostle John is before the presence of the Lord. Associated with each of these three great theophanies is lightning which will be shown to represent the metaphorical arm of Jesus with His return as in Luke 17:24.
The first blown trumpet in Revelation 8:7 with hail and fire mixed with blood is considered the start of the wrath of God as prophesized in Luke 17:29 with its fire and sulfur . Having the rapture in Revelation 8:5 and the wrath of God two verses later provides strong support of a prophetic same day event. Revelation 7:9-17 rejoicing in heaven is considered consequence of the chronologically earlier Revelation 8:5 earthly rapture.
This revised book added Introduction before chapter 1 now synopsizes twelve of the major positions of the book, which will help readers to more easily digest the content which follows. Additional content has been added such as: (1) describe the method of the rapture to the sky, (2) 2 Thessalonians 2:2-5 two prerequisites relative to the day of the Lord, apply to Day 1 (middle of the seventieth week of Daniel) and not the day of the Lord when the same day rapture occurs, (3) earthquakes, (4) quantifies the duration of the fury before the great tribulation ends, and (5) identifies the false trinity. The Antichrist will be proposed to represent two parts of this false trinity: the man of the lawlessness (son of destruction) indwelt by Satan, which is representative of Judas Iscariot in John 17:12.
Corrections from the first book in 2021 include such as the Antichrist is the first beast of Revelation 13 and not the second. Preface of book contain other details.
