Courage Leadership Attribute is the lynchpin of effective Servant Leadership that supports the display of all the other attributes. Having the inner strength of character and convictions to persevere and hold on to new and often misunderstood ideas in the face of opposition takes courage-inner strength to triumph over the fear of failure or danger. It is even greater courage to venture into positions or overcome situations that nobody like you, has gone to before or where much better qualified than you had gone and failed. In all cases, they all display courage in the face of obstacles and uncertainties. The success is more about courage than the experience. Can such courage be learned or inspired? How do leaders or successful people in their callings get to their heights of achievements? How can courage be an inner strength within or beyond leadership? How does courage attribute triumph over paralyzing fear? This course explores answers to these questions and more by searching for the distinguishing characteristics of courage.
