Jax’s breathing became more labored as he sprinting through the dense forest foliage in pursuit of the largest wild boar he’d ever seen in the oh-so-familiar acreage. As he clutched his rifle with both hands, Jax’s eyes glanced upward at the ever-increasing anger in the sky. Deeply darkened clouds boiled as lightning darted in all directions. In the distance, Jax spots an unfamiliar scene; abandoned remnants of a large abandoned whiskey still system. The entire scene was covered with rust and luminescent vines clad in hundreds of multi-colored flowers. Instinctively, Jax leaped onto the top of the largest barrel, all in an attempt to regain sight of the illusive boar. Before Jax could even respond, lightning clusters fill the entire area, with one strike pummeling his entire body. The electrical current surged through every fiber of his being. Never could Jax have imagined how those few seconds would forever change his life and those whom he loved.
