One Loose Tooth
Mary Kauffman
Losing a tooth is a universal experience and can often make a child anxious when it happens. In this book just when it’s time for bed, there is a wiggle of a first loose tooth. The character in the book cannot relax enough to sleep because she has too many unanswered questions about her tooth. Typical of children her age, this tooth becomes a single point of focus and she goes to get her mom even though it is past her bedtime. Eventually she has asked enough and worried enough that the idea eventually becomes more manageable.
