Imagine the writer sitting alone and isolated, in the silence, with only his thoughts. See me sitting there, in a place where I find the greatest expression of who I am. When I write poetry, I want to draw you into the fertile landscape of my mind. Thus I must be a willing participant in my own self discovery for your gain. And there, I must look into all of my dark places, too. Each thought that I find, starts as a whisper and then becomes its own voice.
