Se cuestiona la consistencia del yo autobiografico y se abordan temas criticos relativos a la sexualidad, las relaciones homoeroticas, la familia, el Estado, el ejercicio del poder, la cuestion del cuerpo y otros aspectos culturales (raza, clase, sexo), desde una perspectiva queer. A lo largo de estas historias se deja leer una postulacion sobre los margenes de libertad (soave libertate) del sujeto en la modernidad.
