1976, Patrick, a dad of three children, John, Peter, and Annie, vanishes one day and never comes back. His wife and children will have to cope with his disappearance. Yet, some day, when an old house is being sold, a secret comes out, tongues are loosened, and the children get to know why their father went away. Life and years fly by as we get to know the family, and share their small and bigger worries. The wife wants to forget, if not forgive; the sister builds a new life far away. But the children decide they have to know where their father is. Will they succeed in their quest? This story tells us how they will live their lives despite him. Or maybe because of him?
