The intrinsic reality of the world is stranger than we think. Its strangeness is in its utter simplicity. A Philosophy Of Balance captures and exposes this most elusive simplicity - the simplicity of the obvious that is hidden in plain sight. Chemical Engineering Master of Science Richard A. Frank at a young age while still in high school, experienced a strong revelation: At the core of all the mystery and awesomeness of nature rests a system obeying to stark simplicity and unambiguous conditions of balance. During his years in college as an undergraduate - 1987, Worcester Massachusetts, U.S.A. - and later while studying as a graduate for his Master degree - 1990, University of Eindhoven, The Netherlands - Richard A. Frank embarked in a conscious and committed effort to peel off, layer by layer, the ostensive complexity of the Universe in order to lay bare the simplicity of its inner laws. In 2016 he presented his initial findings in a collection of thirty-three essays titled Essays on Balance. Now, in his second work, he submits his initial conclusions on the workings of nature - from energy, entropy, time, space, change, life, and the universe - to rigorous philosophical criteria in order to present a theoretically sound thesis. Not only does he underpins his conclusions with solid philosophical arguments, he also boldly goes the extra mile by presenting an innovative mathematical perspective on the physics of the vast cosmos to the micro world of the quantum according to his novel worldview on the simple workings and all-encompassing magnificence of a universe of balance.
