Fantastic America: Imagine the United States of America but with the elves, dwarves, clerics, and magic users of fantasy. The novel is based on the north shore of Long Island in the year 1860, where a series of adventurers are given the task to survey a railroad to connect the towns, villages, and communities on the north shore facing the Long Island Sound. The "company" is led by the charismatic paladin Arthur Adams, who, with a company of dwarves, halflings, elves, half elves and even a half orc, fights monsters and evils in their surveying mission.
