Mount Hope Cemetery was dedicated in 1838 and became the first Victorian park-like cemetery in the country, inviting visitors to walk among its hills, valleys, eskers and glacial kettles. At 196-acres, the beauty of the grounds is awe-inspiring to everyone that has had the pleasure of witnessing it. More than 350,000 people spend their eternity here, from all walks of life they lay side by side without discrimination.
