Waves of Heat Around the Lake is the story of Mozi, an information-loaded and gifted young man whose goal is to solve the big problems.

He journeys off-grid with his culturally diverse friends through the desert and seascape of western and northern Australia, where he becomes acutely aware that there are so many problems to solve, and with such little time. To name but a few: there are the spokes of the earth’s wheel, the out-of-date proverbs, and the antiquated ancient laws of the conquest. There’s a massive amount of fixing needed, preferably while there’s still someone alive to do so!

With his polymath mind overflowing with too much information - albeit full of bubbles and waves - Mozi, and his friends, gather for the overdue needed assistance towards the spirit of humankind. A fast track for a clearer higher view.

John Schreuders transports his readers into a highly imaginative world in an allegorical adventure interwoven with singing prose, myth, and Dreamtime lore that creates a compelling story of light-hearted awe.
