Hurricane Katrina has taken everything from them. Their homes, their futures, their very identities. Its people have learned first-hand about suffering. The looting and rioting may be over, the City That Care Forgot is limping its way back from the edge, but their lessons are far from over.
Now, with the city fallen into shadow, the people almost without hope for redemption, something most unwelcome has chosen to walk amongst them. The press has dubbed it ‘The Mangler.’
A soulless serial killer with a penchant for quite literally tearing his victims apart. So far, he seems to be focusing his energies on some unholy crusade against the clergy. Four priests are already dead, killed within their own churches.
And now, All Hallows’ Eve approaches.
What game is he playing while he feeds off of the suffering of New Orleans?
