It's been over 40 years since the Dukes tv show have been off the air. John Schneider (Bo Duke) has been quoted saying, "I've heard people say why they loved the show over and over, and the number one thing they say was, they've 'watched it with their grandparents every Friday night, ' or a younger person would say, 'they used to come home after school and watch the show with my brother or sister'. There was a real sense of family for what they used to call, appointment television." To Duke fans, even though we can't watch it on regular tv, we have our DVD's and old VHS recorders.
