Currently, there is a critical need to integrate diversity and inclusion into health professions curricula and to diversify educators' approaches to teaching. The COVID-19 pandemic has most recently highlighted the systemic barriers that exist for our most vulnerable patients. To address these inequities, it is important to promote diversity and inclusion in thought, practice, and curricular content.
