The Best Dog is the story of 2 neighbors, and friends, that both have dogs. Sophie, the neighbor’s dog is a pure bred dog and has won ribbons in shows. Chance was adopted from a shelter and is also a great dog with great gifts and instincts. The story revolves around the everyday life of Chance and Sophie, and their families. Sophie winds up getting into a dangerous situation just by following the path of a balloon. Chance, with his keen instincts, sees the trouble that Sophie has gotten into and is able to alert his family and save Sophie from a dangerous encounter.
