The great lesson of 2020 is that the United States has no formal, legal, constitutional, and clear mechanism to deal with issues having to do with illegalities in our national elections. Everybody agrees that fraud occurs... nobody knows how often and to what extent. Yet, for years, it has become the invisible weakness of our electoral system. Events that led to a Presidential election that was seriously contested and left a large number of Americans believing there was fraud.
