My Job Interview with God

Pamela K Thomas

Here's a glimpse of me as a child. A raw exposure that you will feel you know me well. I was lead to nursing through faith. My hopes are you see a life that was enriched by people and patients. This book encourages a can do attitude toward life and encourages you to surround yourself with positive people while becoming one yourself. Some stories are sad, yet I have treasured each one for years and received the joy of spending time with each of them. Life: know the patient/friend beyond their photo. I hope you are inspired to make every moment one to remember. Savor what is right in front of you. Listen, care, and respect every morsel of life. These are our gifts of living. Pamela K. Thomas, RN, career began in a Trauma Center Neurology Department. Her path lead her to a Cardiac Department heart transplant team, Nursing Agency, and finally a Cardiac Unit. She left floor nursing to join a newly formed department: Clinical Documentation Specialist. Pamela has worked in Florida, Indiana, and California. She worked assignments in 9 hospitals while picking up an occasional extra shift at one of three out patient surgery centers on her days off. Retired, but not a Stop Sign. She authored a memoir, "My Job Interview With God". Coming soon, a fiction, "The Secret Rose Garden". Pamela is married, mother of two children, grandmother of 6. She loves the ocean, traveling, music and theatre. Her wish: inspire people to follow their dreams. Savor every moment of life with a positive attitude. Approach life with faith and a thirst while leaving a little love and kindness behind.
