Contrary to their anticipation of a boring summer in their small town, three boys find themselves involved in a murder mystery after their town’s annual summer celebration called Wellsburg Days. They find a body by a creek outside their town and help the small town Marshal as much as they can, discover who the victim is and who committed the murder. A lot of focus is also on the Marshal who puzzles through the possibilities until finally solving the case. The story is set in small town Iowa in the summer of 1959. Author Bio After forty years in ministry in the Christian Reformed Church, Timothy Toeset retired and moved with his wife to South Holland, Il to be closer to family. He is father to five children and seven grandchildren. Tim is the son of a pastor and has moved frequently during his life. He was born in Idaho, grew up in two small towns in Iowa and went to high school in Illinois. Tim and his wife enjoy listening to audio books while traveling and that’s what provided the inspiration for this story. Listening to someone’s crime novel while traveling through his onetime home town in Iowa, helped to create the story in Tim’s imagination. Tim received a B.A. from Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL with a major in psychology. He received a Masters of Divinity degree from Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI. Tim pastored congregations in New York, Iowa, Arizona, California, Washington and Montana.
