Retired from a seventeen-year teaching career in the public school system in Georgia, the author has been a member of his local chamber of commerce, board of education, Kiwanis Club, United Way, and Salvation Army, and has served in many positions at his church. Dr. Calhoun graduated from Clark College with a degree in music, from West Georgia University with a master’s degree in elementary education, and Life University with a doctorate in chiropractic. He has practiced in his chosen profession for over thirty years.
