In this initial book of the Grampa Hal series, we meet and get to know Grampa Hal, Mama and little Davey Gibson. Grampa shows up with his first set of grey duct taped boxes that always hold a very special adventure inside. Grampa announces a project in Mama’s backyard and scares Little Davey with his machine with the big spinning teeth on the front. The reader gets to go along with the family to a special park where many golden memories will be made through the adventures to come. Davey receives his first official licker card, but has no idea what it is, or exactly, how to use it.
