This is a story of young Mark–a boy in a small mountain town lost in a world of conspiracy and Creek forced to live in the adult world after losing all he knows. He is befriended by a mysterious stranger, who, by some, is suspected of committing mass murder. The actions taken by Buck not only correct the wrong but lead to surprising reunions.
