My granddaughter, Kelsey, suffers from a genetic deficiency known as Adenosine Deaminase 2 (DADA2), with a manifestation known as polyarteritis nodosa (PAN). She was diagnosed at 3-years-old and started on injectable medication at that point. She has been receiving injections on a frequent basis ever since. She has anxiety when it is time for her injection, even after all of these years. I wrote this book to help her understand, cope with, and accept her circumstance.

All of the proceeds from the sale of this book will go directly to Kelsey’s Kaleidocope, Inc.: A New View for PAN, which is a non-profit organization I founded in order to raise awareness and fund research to find a cure for DADA2 and PAN.
