Jonathan Clark Patrick
In Out of Nashoba, Jonathan Clark Patrick tells the stories of his childhood in a small New England town that was evolving from a rural community of orchards, quarries, and farms into a Boston suburb and that sculpted him as a young person. He lovingly recreates the details of his youth, from discovering a shed full of vintage radios, to playing pick-up ice hockey games on frozen ponds. But these poems are filled with much more than retro nostalgia-they shine light on how his grassroots Massachusetts upbringing gave him the drive, ethic, and craft to become a true poet in his adult life.
