Adapted from Celebrated Book:Letters from Max is adapted from the book of the same name, published in 2018 by Milkwood Editions. Kirkus called the book "a captivating celebration of life and love," while Colorao Review called it "a portrait of a friendship over multiple years, as instructive to us as readers as Ritvo and Ruhl were and are to each other."
