The frontiers. The word itself conjures up mystery and the unknown, a fearful thing for some, but for others, a desire to go simply because it is there. To people like Ernest Shackleton or Roald Amundsen, it was the icy, wind-blown tundras of the polar realms.

To others, like Stanley Livingston, it was the exploration of the Nile River. To still others, like those early astronauts, it was space itself. Whether one is a naturalist or a missionary however, the words of the apostle Paul echo their own sentiments when it comes to the frontiers. It has always been my desire to preach the gospel where it has not been preached before.
