Author Stuart E. Smith has a background in volunteering with youth of all ages. He has served as their Youth Minister, Pastor, Teen Radio show Host, Coach, Sports Announcer and Local Coordinator for a foreign Exchange Program from 1996 to 2010. He has been Host Dad to 20 students from 11 different countries from 1992 to 2010. He also taught incoming foreign students in New Jersey and Washington DC about what to expect upon their arrival to the United States. He is a proud father of two sons, Hamp, who serves as a firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician and Luke who serves in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman. He is also thankful for his daughter Lydia who is a member of her high school band and choir. After the loss of his wife Lisa of 30 years, he has dedicated this revised version of a book once known as A Tadpole’s Tale to her memory. A story originally inspired by his son Luke who God healed from meningitis during Christmas 1991 and New Year’s 1992. After his healing from God they came home to find a little green frog waiting on their front door. Stuart presently serves his community as a Certified Security Officer for a local Hospital and a substitute teacher. He serves as Vice President of the local Lion’s Club. He is also an Ordained Minister with the Congregational Holiness Church Inc. Stuart E. Smith is available for book signings and speaking engagements in your community by appointment.
