Ralph Frazer of the Bar Z has control of the local sheriff in Posse of Outlawed Men. The scheme seems unstoppable until Montana Pierce sets himself in opposition to Frazer. Rust Off a Tin Star concerns Yace Metten, a long-time town marshal in Salt Springs whose authority has been questioned in recent years. When Yace narrowly escapes being killed, he realizes that age is catching up with him.
