Tammy Cantrell Greene was born and raised in Toccoa, Georgia, where she currently lives. A mother of three, she wrote this book as a memoir detailing her daughter Samantha’s struggle with a chronic illness known as Ulcerative Colitis. Samanatha was diagnosed in 2008, when she was only seven years old. In addition to being a full time mother, Tammy currently serves as the Executive Director of Finance with one of the leading US healthcare companies. When not at work or at home enjoying the gift of parenthood, she is heavily involved in her Baptist church community, serving as a Sunday school teacher, a Finance committee member, Women’s Ministry member, and Ray of Hope Gospel Group singer.
