The Story of Boo, A Series of Books: Noah and the Search Dogs

My privilege was to be Boo’s veterinarian. He had a kindred spirit and a kind soul. Boo’s legacy speaks directly to children reminding them of the life-saving value in adopting a stray animal in a shelter. Who saved who? Discarded as a stray, then given a second chance, he became our community’s treasure. He never quit searching. In 1999 Boo was inducted into the Florida Veterinary Medical Association’s Pet Hall of Fame. It was my proudest day. Laurie A.
