The newest installment in the God Gave Us series finds Little Cub struggling with a common challenge for young children: understanding the importance of a good night’s rest. Little Cub is playing with friends and is called in for bedtime, but she doesn’t want to stop playing. Her mother tells her about God’s design for rest, for giving us energy, and how God wants us to have a good night’s sleep. Little Cub struggles that night with a busy mind (not nightmares, just excited about building the snow fort) and the next day she is very tired and cranky. Mama talks to her about the rhythm of rest, work, and play God has designed for us. The next night Little Cub gets good rest, has good dreams and wakes up refreshed.
